Biology News Articles	Download & print the form (also found on the Progress Book Biology page) and follow the directions.	Worth a maximum of 6 bonus points depending on the quality and length of the summary plus vocabulary option.
Clean up after a classroom pet	Come before or stay after school and clean out a turtle tank or critter cage to earn bonus points. (Note: Please make arrangements with Ms. A ahead of time)	Worth a maximum of 10 bonus points depending on the size of the cage/tank.
Biology Poster	Make a poster for the current or next chapter we will be studying. (Run your ideas by Ms. A ahead of time)	Worth a maximum of 10 bonus points depending on effort, accuracy, creativity, and quality.
Biology Glog	Good with computers, bored with normal extra credit? Then make a glog (kind of like an online poster) about a biology topic (pick an animal, disease, biome, current event, etc.). Sign up to make an account BEFORE you make your glog. Take a Practice Quiz	Go to this website Choose a chapter from the drop-down menu on the left. Click “Multiple Choice Quiz” Answer the questions (you may use your notes/book) Click “Submit Answers” when finished If you scored above 70% you are eligible for extra credit! Fill out the form at the bottom to send me your results. Email them to hill_abrams@tccsa.net and mabrams1@hotmail.com Note: You can only take a quiz for a chapter we have studied in the current grading period. (Check with Ms. Abrams if you need to find out which ones are ok)	Score 70-100% and email me your results for 5 bonus points. (also helpful to print the first & last page as proof if the email form doesn’t work)
Be a Biology Lab Assistant	Find out when Miss A has her next Biology lab scheduled. Offer to come in before/after school to set up, or during the lab to help out. (Biology classes are 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th periods) Note: you must have study hall to help out during class. You cannot get out of academic classes.	Worth 5 bonus points.
